As a “niche” ship, Caledonia is not your typical cruise ship. The 245 foot barquentine Caledonia is a premium sailing vessel that can accommodate up to 77 passengers and 20 crew. The Caledonia starts trading in the Caribbean from Pointe a Pitre Guadeloupe in January 2008 and cruises through the spectacular and relatively untouched French Caribbean and the British” spice island” Dominica. She then repositions to Canada cruising out of Quebec, the West Coast of Newfoundland and along the South Shore of Nova Scotia throughout the summer and fall.
