About Us:

The Prairie Dog Central Railway is one of the oldest regularly scheduled vintage operating trains in North America. Located in Winnipeg, Manitoba (CANADA) the railway offers over 50 unique Events from mid-May through to the end of September. In October are Halloween Express trains, and November and December feature Breakfast with Santa and Santa Evening trains. The railway owns and operates a Vintage 1882 steam-powered locomotive and a Classic 1957 diesel locomotive. The railway coaches were built in the early 1900’s and are fully refurbished. Charters and Education Programs are also offered.
